BMS at CenTex District Meet

BMS AT CENTEX DISTRICT MEET

The Belton Middle School Cross Country team wrapped up their season on a high note at the District Meet in Waco, Texas, on Wednesday evening. It was a beautiful day for racing — the weather was perfect, the energy was high, and every athlete gave it their all on the intense 2-mile course. The team truly ended the season with a bang, showing how much growth and dedication they’ve displayed all year long. We had two medalists and several standout performances across all grade levels. Top Runners In the 7th grade girls division, Dahlia Dunkin earned a 10th-place medal with an impressive race. Ava Smith finished close behind in 33rd, followed by Liliana Corona in 36th, both giving strong performances to close out their season. For the 7th grade boys, Jace Ramesar finished 26th, and Weston Rodriguez came in 32nd, both running strong and pushing hard through the finish. In the 8th grade girls division, Kate Jones brought home a 10th-place medal, while Ava Boeselt finished 25th and Sophia Somers came in 41st, rounding out a strong showing for the group. The coaches couldn’t be prouder of all the athletes for their hard work, determination, and improvement throughout the season. It’s been an incredible journey from the first meet to the finish line at district, and the future looks bright for Belton Middle Cross Country! All results from the meet can be found here:
