What a way to close out an incredible volleyball season! The Belton Middle School Lady Tigers traveled to Copperas Cove for the district tournament, and both our 7A and 7B teams left it all on the court. From the very first serve to the final whistle, these girls played with heart, grit, and that unstoppable Tiger pride that defines our program. The 7B Lady Tigers blazed through the competition, dominating with powerful serves, sharp communication, and rock-solid defense. Their teamwork and determination carried them all the way to the championship match, where they played with unmatched energy and composure. When the final point dropped, the crowd erupted as 7B claimed the District Championship title! Their season was filled with growth, perseverance, and unforgettable moments that truly set the tone for the future of BMS volleyball. Meanwhile, our 7A Lady Tigers put on a thrilling performance of their own. In one of the most exciting games of the tournament, they faced Lake in a nail-biting three-set championship battle. Every serve, dig, and spike was a testament to their hard work and dedication throughout the season. Though they came up just short, finishing as District Runner-Up, their fight and resilience were nothing short of inspiring. We could not be prouder of all our athletes for their incredible effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the season. From early morning practices to late night games, this group has shown what it truly means to be a Belton Lady Tiger Congratulations, Lady Tigers, on an amazing season and a phenomenal finish at District! The future of Belton volleyball is bright 7B: The Belton Middle School Lady Tigers 7B team closed out their season in Copperas Cove with an unforgettable performance at the district tournament! These girls showed heart, hustle, and true Tiger pride in every match, proving exactly why they are one of the toughest teams in the league. The tournament opened with a thrilling matchup against Midway, where the Lady Tigers came out strong and focused. They battled point for point in both sets, staying composed and aggressive at the net. With smart serves, solid defense, and quick transitions, Belton secured both sets for an incredible start to the day — setting the tone for what was to come. Next up was the top-ranked district team, a powerhouse opponent that had been nearly unstoppable all season. But the Lady Tigers were ready. The first set turned into an absolute nail-biter, stretching all the way to 28 points before Belton sealed the win in dramatic fashion. In the second set, the Lady Tigers unleashed their full momentum, dominating 25–8 with unstoppable serves and flawless teamwork that had the entire gym on its feet! The final match was a showdown against North Belton, a team the Tigers had beaten twice before. But this time, North came ready to fight, and the energy in the gym was electric. The crowd was loud, the rallies were long, and every point felt like a championship moment. Through the noise and pressure, the Lady Tigers stayed calm, confident, and united — delivering clutch plays when it mattered most. With one final burst of energy, they closed the match and claimed the District Championship title!
