BMS Girls Track at McGregor

BMS GIRLS TRACK AT MCGREGOR

The Belton Middle School Lady Tigers competed at the McGregor JH Track Meet on February 18 and delivered an impressive showing across both 7th and 8th grade divisions. The team demonstrated strength in the field events, speed on the track, and determination in the distance races. First Place: Ava Smith (7th Grade) – 1600m Run Champion (6:44.10) Eden McCallum (7th Grade) – Shot Put Champion (28-6) Sutton Wagner (7th Grade) – Long Jump Champion (15-0) Kate Jones (8th Grade) – 1600m Run Champion (6:19.04) Second Place: Ava Smith (7th Grade) – 400m Dash (1:14.99) Belton MS 7th Grade 4x200 Relay Team – (2:04.18) Kate Jones (8th Grade) – 2400m Run (10:22.45) Lucy Stratton (8th Grade) - 200m Dash (30.36) Madison Lewis (8th Grade) – 300m Hurdles (58.23) Soley Torres (8th Grade) – Discus (74-3) Third Place: Emily Munoz (7th Grade) – Shot Put (25-4) Belton MS 8th Grade 4x100 Relay Team – (55.96) Jaleeah Sledd (8th Grade) – 200m Dash (30.60) Lucy Stratton (8th Grade) – Long Jump (14-1.75) Raelynn Saldana (8th Grade) – 100m Dash (14.54) Soley Torres (8th Grade) – Shot Put (29-7.5) The Lady Tigers showed depth across running and field events, scoring valuable points in both divisions. The BMS Girls Coaching Staff are proud of the effort, sportsmanship, and growth the team continues to demonstrate each week.
