BMS GIRLS TRACK AT CENTEX DIVISIONAL MEET

The Belton Middle School girls track team delivered another strong performance, showcasing their hard work and continued growth across multiple events. Several athletes earned top finishes, and many secured district-qualifying marks, highlighting the depth and talent of the program. 1st Place: Soley Torres (8th Grade) - Discus: 79-3 Sutton Wagner (7th Grade) - Long Jump: 14-2 2nd Place: Brianna Guerrero (8th Grade) - 400m Dash: 1:09.76 Lucy Stratton (8th Grade) - 200m Dash: 29.66 Ujunwa Ogwudu (8th Grade) - Shot Put: 32-7 3rd Place: Ava Davies (8th Grade) - 200m Dash: 30.75 Kate Jones (8th Grade) - 1600m Run: 6:24.6 Kate Jones (8th Grade) - 2400m Run: 10:38.50 Lucy Stratton (8th Grade) - 100m Dash: 14.64 Avery Mills (7th Grade) - 100m Dash: 14.95 Sutton Wagner (7th Grade) - 200m Dash: 31.25 4x100m Relay Team (7th Grade: Gracelyn Garelick, Avery Mills, Ourania Guardiola, Sutton Wagner): 55.08 4th Place District Qualifiers: Brynlie Burr (8th Grade) - 400m Dash: 1:10.08 Raelynn Saldana (8th Grade) - 100m Dash: 14.76 4x100m Relay (8th Grade: Ynissa Wightman, Lucy Stratton, Ava Davies, Raelynn Saldana): 54.99 Eden McCallum (7th Grade) - Shot Put: 27-11 Sutton Wagner (7th Grade) - 100m Dash: 15.09 Overall, it was a great day of competition for Belton Middle School. The athletes continue to improve each week, and their effort and commitment are evident in their results. The team looks forward to building on this momentum as they prepare for the CenTex District Meet on April 7th.
