BMS GIRLS BASKETBALL VS. SC LEE
The BMS Lady Tiger Basketball team faced the SC Lee Lady Cougars this past Monday night.
The 8A Lady Tigers played a quick paced and aggressive game against the SC Lee Cougars. The first half was full of so many shots that weren’t landing as the team was trying to find new ways to communicate and score. Emma Harvey walked away as our top scorer with 15 points, a personal best for her! Tara Stone unlocked a new level of shooting from the elbow scoring 8 points.
The BMS 7A girls had a tough game vs SC Lee. Anessa Ortiz and Kylee Pierce did their best to get a few shots past SC Lee’s solid defense, both scoring a total of 14 points for the Lady Tigers. However the Cougars’ power player #10 was able to sneak past the Tigers’ defense several times to help the Cougars maintain their lead. 7A worked hard, stayed aggressive, and hustled from offense to defense, but fell short 14-33.
The 7B Lady Tigers played a great game on Monday that brought them to win 12-8. The team hustled and played well together. Kamrie Moore was a force to be reckoned with both on defense and offense, being the highest scorer on the team for this game with 6 points. The Lady Tigers did a great job improving on their weaknesses from their last game and are excited to keep on working hard over the break.
