The Tigers battled Midway, but dropped the first games of the year. 8B moved the ball all night behind QB Kasen Bailey and RB Noah Majano. Bailey scored on a quarterback bootleg from about 20 yards out. In the end, the Tigers could not hold back Midway’s rushing attack and lost 6-26. 8A was in for a dog fight. Midway scored first and went up 13-0. The Tigers answered with a long drive anchored by a catch out of the backfield by Tre’son Heath-Kilgore. Aiden Horton scored from 3 yards out after a pass interference in the end zone. Brett Smith scored in the second half on fade ball to the back of the end zone from Brody Lee. The Tigers fell 25-12.
