7A BMS VS. COPPERAS COVE
Last night, the crowd witnessed an exceptional display of teamwork and sportsmanship from the Lady Tigers as they faced off against Copperas Cove at home. All teams demonstrated resilience and determination, despite the outcome of the games. A special congratulations to the 7th Grade B Team for winning both sets and showcasing an outstanding performance!
We played against a very skilled 7A team from Copperas Cove. BMS 7A had a struggle with communication and serve receive, but will continue to work on those things in practice as preparation for the rest of the season. Our team played with a new lineup with Jaleigh Burr stepping up for her team and playing libero at the last minute. Emily Potts played her first night as our primary setter and learned the position quickly to help her team. Our team has shown tremendous growth since the beginning of the season, and Coach Colburn has a huge faith in 7A that they will continue to work hard, be coachable, and grow as players and as people.
Set 1: 6-25
Set 2: 7-25
We look forward to tomorrow’s tournament and to Thursday’s game at River Valley! Go Tigers!
