BMS VOLLEYBALL VS. RIVER VALLEY
The BMS volleyball team demonstrated unwavering resilience and exemplary sportsmanship as they faced off against River Valley in a highly competitive match. Despite the challenges they faced, the team's collective determination and positive attitudes shone through, making them a force to be reckoned with on the court. Their unrelenting spirit and refusal to back down earned them a hard-fought battle that will undoubtedly serve as a valuable learning experience for the team.
7th Grade A:
Ava Baggett, Brynlie Burr, and Jalynne Prado had a great defensive game, not being afraid to dive for any ball that came their way. Ava Davies also had several successful passes helping her team earn points against River Valley. Every athlete played their role and kept a positive attitude despite the outcome of a tough game against the number one team in the district. Despite the loss, the Lady Tigers have come a long way in the last five weeks, and they look forward to setting team and personal goals for the upcoming week!
7th Grade B:
Although the Tigers fell to River Valley, Ynissa Wightman and Madison Lewis had a great night of serving. The team showed a lot of grit and improvement within the first set.
8th Grade A:
Bristol Kuhnau led the charge with a strong performance, notching two aces and handling three downballs with ease. Makayla Casey showcased her impressive middle skills, dominating the court with two blocks and a successful hit. The Tigers eventually fell to River Valley, but never gave up.
8th Grade B:
Mia Turner was a force to be reckoned with in the back row, racking up two assists and helping her team stay competitive. Neveah Ortiz brought the heat with three successful serves, keeping the opposing team on their toes despite the overall loss.
Come out and support the Lady Tigers at home next Thursday October 3rd against S.C. Lee!
