Final Volleyball Game BMS vs. Lamar!

FINAL VOLLEYBALL GAME BMS VS. LAMAR!

This week The Lady Tigers faced off vs. the Lamar Bearcats for their last home game of the season. The Lady Tigers went home with a sweep! 8A had a nail biting match that went to three sets. The first set was a little rocky for the Lady Tigers who struggled to return the serves of Lamar’s team captain, number 25. The girls were able to shake off their mistakes for the second set. Amalie Meehan had some amazing serves and kills earning the team 10 points in the second set. Kinsley Denbow also did a great job of giving strong and consistent serves, allowing her team to climb up the ladder. The final set was a hard fought rally from both teams, with the scoreboard numbers bouncing back and forth. Ultimately, the Lady tigers endured and earned a win for their final game of the season. Great job ladies! Team 8B showcased an impressive performance in their recent game, winning with remarkable ease. Isabella Casto was a standout player, contributing significantly with 6 aces. Additionally, Ansley Harvey delivered an exceptional kill that energized the team. Their unshakeable spirit and heart were on full display as they faced off against their opponents, refusing to back down even in the face of adversity. The team's collective energy was palpable, driving them to push through challenges and overcome obstacles. Great job, Team 8B! 7A started off strong in the first set and won 25-21 in an amazing match with high energy! The score of the second set was 18-25. The game ended in a thrilling three sets with a Lady Tiger win 15-11! The entire team did their jobs on and off the court! Grace Thomas had seven successful serves with amazing downward angle and speed making it difficult for the other team to receive. Captain Emily Potts also had seven successful serves and four tips, helping lead her team to their first victory of the season. The Lady Tigers had grit, great communication, and high energy throughout the night. The 7A Lady Tigers have grown as people and as athletes this entire season, and their hard work and dedication truly showed in the last game of the season. It was a hard fought game, but they earned their win against Lamar, closing out the season on a positive note! Go Lady Tigers! 7B had a slow start to the first set but won 25-19 in a fantastic match with exceptional effort. The second set ended in 25-18 with excellent serves and high energy. The entire team held their own, making exceptional plays and demonstrating great teamwork. Captain Ynissa Wightman had an outstanding night with 10 successful serves, great defensive plays, and excellent leadership. Madison Lewis also had an exceptional night with 10 successful serves and impressive defensive plays. The Lady Tigers displayed great communication, leadership, and improvement to secure the victory!
