The Tigers took on Temple Bonham at home for the first game of the year. 7B lost a close game by 3 points. Offensive MVP was Jhase Alexander with 6 points, and Defensively, Devin Erickson forced multiple turnovers. 7A had a great come back in the second half to win 35-28. Braedon Martinez was the defensive MVP and Thomas Carpenter was the offensive leader. 8B won their game in dramatic fashion. They were down with 2 minutes to go and Jacob Cook had two steals and easy layups to take the lead and hold on for the win 20-18. 8A played a good first game but turned the ball over too many times. Tre’son Heath-Kilgore was the defensive MVP and Camden Wittman led the Tiger offensively with 10 points. The Tigers Travel to North Belton after the break to take on the Broncos.
